I’ve always been fascinated by the beauty of a pearl. How simple can you show it? This collection is very much designed with this in mind. I think the way I create jewellery is much more about taking away things than adding. I don’t feel a setting should ever take the focus away from the material unless the setting is part of the story that I want to tell.”

La Beauté d’une Perle portrays the raw unadorned beauty of a pearl. A sense of pure simplicity fills Sophie Bille Brahe’s universe, displaying gold and pearls in a new sculptural expression. The centerpiece of the collection, the La Belle pearl necklace picks up the collection’s sculptural influence with 53 pearls, adding a grand influence to the collection with 9.5 mm pearls, and one final pearl of 13.5 mm swaying in the back. This season, the pearls also magnify the wrist with the La Belle Perle bracelet with 13 pearls of 13.5 mm.
