Certified B Corporation™
Sophie Bille Brahe is proud to be a Certified B Corporation™ under the new B Lab V2.2 Standards, meeting high standards of social an environmental responsibility, transparency, and accountability. The certification reflects our long-standing commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship, responsible practices, and a considered way of working.
As a Certified B Corporation™, we join a global community of companies working together for change, taking collective action towards a more inclusive, equitable, and fair economy that benefits both people and the planet - with positive impact integral to our business.
This certification ensures that responsibility remains closely aligned with creativity as we continue to evolve. From the sourcing of materials to the relationships we build, each decision is made with a long-term perspective in mind.
B Corps are assessed against the B Lab Standards, a globally recognised framework for measuring a company's social and environmental impact across key areas, including climate action and human rights. The certification process is independently audited and verified by a third party in accordance with ISO 17021-1 requirements.

Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030
We are proud to be part of the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030, a global collaboration between leading jewellery and watch brands committed to advancing sustainability across the sector. The initiative focuses on three key pillars: climate resilience, resource preservation, and inclusiveness, areas that closely align with our own priorities. Through this partnership, we work alongside peers to strengthen climate action, promote responsible sourcing and packaging, and advance gender equality.
UN Global Compact
We are also a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. By joining the UN Global Compact, we commit to aligning our business with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, and to contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
As of June 2026, we have submitted our first formal Communication on Progress (CoP) to the United Nations Global Compact. See our profile and submission here.
Women's Empowerment Principles
In December 2022, our CEO signed the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), reaffirming our commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, marketplace, and community.
The WEPs guide our efforts to create fair opportunities, strengthen representation, and build a culture rooted in respect and inclusion. By aligning with this global framework, we commit to advancing equality across leadership, career development, and everyday business practices, recognising that empowering women is essential to sustainable and lasting progress.
Community Partnership - Reden International
At Sophie Bille Brahe, we believe responsibility starts close to home.
We collaborate with Reden International, a local organisation dedicated to supporting and empowering women exposed to human trafficking, exploitation, and prostitution. Since 2023, we have held an annual volunteer day where our entire team steps away from the office to contribute directly to Reden’s work. This includes hands-on initiatives such as renovating their night café — a safe space offering warmth, rest, counselling, and essential support for women in vulnerable situations. Through volunteer work, donations, and awareness-raising, we are proud to support Reden International’s vital mission and contribute to meaningful change within our local community.
We do not engage in lobbying activities; instead, we collaborate with partners to advance sustainability, transparency, and responsible business practices.
