Our Greatest Inspiration and Our Greatest Responsibility
As we work exclusively with natural materials, nature is both our greatest inspiration and our greatest responsibility. Its resources shape every creation we make and in turn, our activities have an impact on it.
Climate change and biodiversity loss are defining challenges of our time, and we are committed to understanding and reducing our impact on the natural systems we depend on. Our approach focuses on accountability, action, and continuous improvement, addressing both climate and nature across our operations and value chain.
Measuring Our Impact
We have begun the systematic measurement of our greenhouse gas emissions to better understand our climate footprint and identify priority areas for reduction. Our baseline year is 2023, when we completed our first full assessment of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
We are committed to supporting the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C and have aligned our climate strategy with the Science Based Targets initiative SBTi. Our ambition is to maintain zero Scope 1 emissions and reduce our Scope 2 emissions by 60% by 2030, using 2023 as our baseline year.
Our journey continues as we take a closer look at our wider value chain. From 2026, we will begin the systematic measurement of our full carbon footprint, including Scope 3 emissions, and will progressively improve data quality over time to inform the development of science-aligned reduction targets.
To deliver this, responsibility for implementation sits with our leadership team, supported by dedicated internal sustainability resources and external technical expertise. We will actively engage key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and employees to support data collection, identify reduction opportunities, and drive shared climate action.
Reducing Emissions Today
Our Copenhagen office runs on 100% renewable energy. To reduce emissions linked to business travel, we partner with Goodwings, a travel platform that enables us to track, reduce, and actively remove the carbon emissions associated with our trips. By integrating climate action directly into how we travel, we ensure that necessary journeys contribute positively to our sustainability goals.
Logistics are another key area of focus. In 2024, 76% of our inbound and outbound shipments were carbon neutral, supported by certified climate projects. Our ambition is to reach 100% carbon neutral shipments by 2030.
Biodiversity & Nature
We recognize our dependency on nature, from the ecosystems that support raw material extraction to the communities where our partners live and work. Protecting biodiversity is essential to maintaining resilient supply chains and healthy environments.
In 2025, we began developing our Nature Roadmap, aligned with the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030 and its Preserving Resources pillar. This marks the first step in a longer journey to better understand how our business depends on and impacts the natural world.
Our approach is informed by the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). We started by mapping where our activities intersect with nature, identifying key locations, materials, and processes across our value chain. This helped us understand where we rely on ecosystem services, and where our operations may contribute to pressures on natural systems.
We then conducted an initial screening of our dependencies and impacts on nature, assessing which ecosystem services we depend on, which we influence, and their relative materiality. This included evaluating sourcing regions against TNFD criteria to identify ecologically sensitive locations.
This work provides a foundation for deeper analysis and action in the years ahead. It is only the beginning of our nature journey, but an important step toward building a more informed, responsible, and regenerative relationship with the world we depend on.
Mangrove Restoration in Thailand
Through identifying key locations within our value chain where our activities intersect closely with sensitive ecosystems and by understanding the ecoregion connected to our sourcing and the ecosystem services we depend on, we were able to identify areas where positive action could have meaningful impact.
One of these areas is coastal Thailand, where one of our key suppliers is located.
In 2025, we planted 10,000 mangrove trees in the Bang Khun Thian Mangrove Forest, in collaboration with our supplier and local organisations. This coastline has experienced severe erosion, with more than four million square metres of mangrove forest lost in recent years.
Mangroves play a vital role in protecting coastal communities from flooding and erosion, supporting biodiversity, and capturing carbon. By contributing to mangrove restoration, we aim to strengthen climate resilience, support biodiversity, and invest in the communities connected to our supply chain.
